AAA: Autumn Architecture Adventures

"Adventures" might be a bit of an oversell, but once again I am giving four architectural walking tours with 92YTribeca this fall. Below are details on the tours, each of which focuses on a relatively small area where a cluster of new architecture can be found. Tours are on Saturdays and last about 2.5 hours.

The High Line and Its Environs

Trek the High Line taking in the park and the surrounding buildings and step off to get a closer look at select buildings.


The Bowery Changing

Look at new buildings on the Bowery from Spring Street to Astor Place, taking in adjacent blocks.


Village Learning
Saturday, October 19, 11am to 1:30pm

Focus on three college institutions in the East Village and Greenwich Village—the Cooper Union, NYU and the New School.


Designer Shopping
Saturday, November 2, 11am to 1:30pm

Walk through SoHo and Nolita and admire the architecture and interior design of retail storefronts that have opened since 2000.
